Toxicology:
Acute oral toxicity(LD50 ): male rat 2125mg/Kg, female rat
2130mg/Kg; mouse (male & female), 1300mg/Kg.
Acute percutaneous toxicity, LD50 >5000mg/Kg for mouse (male & female).
Median tolerance limit(TLm) for carp, 400ppm, 48hr. Irritative and
harmful to eyes.
Application:
6-BA is the first synthetic cytokinin. It can inhibit
degradation of chlorophyll, nucleic acid and protein, promote delivery
of amino acid, inorganic salt and growth regulators to applied
positions. It helps plant to keep green and retard aging. It can be used
in agriculture, horticulture, for plants at different stages, from
germination to harvest.
