Basic facts of the product:

Calcium Propionate,a white crystal or powder,is odorless,or slightly smells propionic acid,and stable to heat and lighel.It is highly hydroscopic,soluble in water(50g/100ml) and insoluble in ethanol and etger.Under the acidic condition,it generates free propionic cid which has antibiotic effect.

Calcium Propionate can inhibit growth of some individual molds and bacteria and is widely used in grain products such as bread to inhibit molds and prolong product shelf life.

In addition,it is used to prevent other products from deterioration resulted from microorganisms.Compared with other bacteria killers,it is non-toxic and low in cost,and thus is widely used in wines,cakes,truit jam,bean products,chocolate,cheese,and western style meal.It is never harmful to health and has a remarkable effect in a antimold.

Dosage and Administration

Generally speaking,regarding the standard bread manufacture method,the recommendation amout is 0.1-0.5%.When manufacture the dough,join this product in the flour after dissolution in few water.

Package,storage and valid period

Doulble corrugated paper box or woven bag with food-grade thin plastic bag in.Specification:10kg/box or 25kg/bag.
Store the product in a cool and dry place in a clean storehouse with good ventilation,protecting from moisture,and keep it away from toxic and pollutants substances.
In case of intact package and up to the above storage requirement,the valid period is two years.
